TASSYN
Tassyn is a film production specialist, knowledgeable in all areas of high-end film & TV production. A creatively inclined producer, passionate about making films and content that positively impact the world and its people, Tassyn is committed to creating film inspired by the real world.
Born in South Africa, her first love is making stories come to life, beautifully and within budget. Her experience in theatre, journalism and television makes her the multifaceted producer you want on your project. Her filmography includes producer credits on the International Emmy-nominated Puppet Nation ZA, the eTV drama series Ambitions and the Mzansi Magic’s music drama Ingoma.
What’s Pretty Neat is that once upon a time Tassyn was a Hip Hop dancer representing South Africa – and if the shoot is going really well, she’s been known to bust a move.
ALEX
Alex Fynn is a multiple award-winning director and editor. He began his professional career as a director and editor on the International Emmy-nominated South African satire series, Puppet Nation ZA, for which he received three South African Film and Television Awards, including Best Comedy Director and Best Editor.
Alex is known for his slick and detailed approach to filmmaking from pre-production to post. His love of creative freedom means he brings out the best in everyone he collaborates with.
He has worked with brands such as Virgin Active, Sanlam, Red Bull, Asics, Woolworths, Primark, and Pizza Hut. Another highlight for Alex was when he conceptualised and directed a Red Bull Music Video for South African artist Rouge, and took home the 2018 SAMA Music Video of the Year.
What’s Pretty Neat is that Alex knows exactly what music to play – and when to play it. As the resident DJ, he’ll keep the vibes on set or in the edit suite just right.
KRISTIN
Kristin is a junior producer at Pretty Neat, and if there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that she’ll keep a production running smoothly—with a smile on her face and a plan in her back pocket. An AFDA honours graduate, she’s been with Pretty Neat since the days of knocking chairs together in our tiny office and has worked on countless productions, always bringing her signature energy and positivity to the mix.
She’s incredible with people, knows how to keep things on track, and is exactly the person you want by your side when trying to breeze through airport security with a little too much luggage. Whether she’s juggling calls, schedules, or last-minute curveballs, Kristin does it all with grace, efficiency, and an unwaveringly good attitude. And if you’re lucky enough to hear her sing, prepare to be blown away—her professionally trained voice is just another one of her many talents.
NICOLAI
Meet Nicolai Groudev, our talented VFX artist and motion graphics designer. With a SAFTA to his name, he’s a pro at his craft, blending creativity and precision to perfection. He’s all set to elevate our visual storytelling.
What’s Pretty Neat is that Nicolai made this 3D lightsaber in Blender!
SNE
Sne Dladla is an actor, musician, dancer, and a comedian.
He already has two Fleur du Cap theatre awards under his belt, stars in BET’s first locally co-produced comedy sitcom Black Tax. Sne is not only a creative and comedy consultant for Pretty Neat, but he is the genius behind bespoke sound tracks, music and theme songs for original and commercial projects.
